Hrithik Roshan is basking in the glory of his last release Super 30 and has managed to intrigue the audience with the teaser of his next War, co-starring Tiger Shroff. Amidst all that, there have been reports that the actor is all set to feature next in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s and Hema Malini’s hit film Satte Pe Satta. As we all know that Farah Khan is planning a remake of the film, which will be produced by Rohit Shetty, recent reports suggest that it will star Hrithik in the lead with Katrina Kaif being considered to be cast opposite him.
Now in an interaction with a leading daily, Hrithik dismissed rumours of him signing Satte Pe Satta remake yet, although he said that he would be 'super-excited' to step into Big B's shoes, if given a chance. "I am a huge fan of Mr Bachchan so whenever I will get a chance to step into his shoes, I’d be super excited. As for Satte Pe Satta remake, those are only reports as of now. When I sign my next film, I will tell the world about it. Until then, everything you hear is only a rumour," the actor was quoted as saying.
Well, if Hrithik signs on the dotted line and Katrina does too, it would be a hat-trick for both the actors after Bang Bang and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Meanwhile, the remake is said to mount the sets by early next year and is going to be produced by Reliance Entertainment along with Rohit. An official statement on the film is awaited soon.
