Bibhas Honey Chhaya who handled the whole empire and family affairs of veteran screenwriter Salim Khan and Salman Khan’s family passed away today. He was the elder son of Honey Bhai Chhaya who also handled the Khan family’s affairs till he breathed his last.
Bibhas was associated with Salman’s film production company as well. Bibhas was earlier a high ranking executive with Hong Kong Bank. However, he had left that job after serving substantial years due to personal reasons.

His father Honeybhai was working for Salman’s father Salim Khan since 1979 when he had directed a Gujarati film Anand Mangal that was produced by Salim-Javed and Johnny Walker. He directed and acted in both Hindi and Gujarati films and plays.

When Khan Sr. had come to know that Bibhas had left his bank job, he offered him to work for him and look after the family’s finances and financial investments since he had a thorough knowledge of financial matters. Salman along with his family paid a warm tribute to Bibhas. Bibhas is survived by his wife and mother who reside in Virar.
