Watch: Salman Khan’s revelation on how Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal came on board for Notebook is extremely funny

Pranutan Bahl’s and Zaheer Iqbal’s upcoming film Notebook’s trailer was launched today amidst much fanfare and rightly so because the producer of the film is none-other-than Salman Khan. Salman who is well-known for introducing and mentoring several Bollywood stars are launching Pranutan and Zaheer in his production venture.

Today, during the trailer launch of the film, Salman spoke about how he met and found his new actors for the film. Pranutan is the daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl and granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan, whereas Zaheer is the son of Salman’s longtime friend Iqbal Ratnasi. Apparently, the two have been training for their film for the past five years.

Salman heaped praise on Pranutan who was a lawyer before and said, “Jo informative dialogues hotey Hain, wo pranutan ko bade asaani se aate hain.” Talking about Zaheer, Salman joked that the actor had made an entire film on himself to show him. However, he praised him for his hard work and dedication for five long years before he could debut in Notebook.

Notebook is a love story directed by Nitin Kakkar. The film is also produced by Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios and is slated to release on March 29.
