Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is all set to release this Friday and ahead of its release Bollywood celebrities are posting heartfelt and emotional messages for their special ones with messages bearing the tag #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga. Anil spearheaded the movement by tweeting an adorable note for his wife Sunita Kapoor on Sunday. He tagged Rajkummar Rao, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Riteish Deshmukh in the post asking them to share stories of the special women in their lives.
Anil who plays Sonam’s father in the film which is the first mainstream film to showcase an LGBTQ love story started this novel idea for the film’s promotions. Arjun soon followed suit and had an adorable message for the special ‘ladki’ in his life who is none other than Sonam. Rajkummar has tagged Abhishek Bachchan and Ranveer Singh too to talk about the love of their lives but they haven't responded as yet. Previous to this, Patralekhaa who is in a relationship with Rajkummar had shared their love story on the Humans of Bombay page that has tied up with the film for its promotions. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga also stars Rajkummar, Juhi Chawla, Regina Cassandra and Abhishek Duhan. The film is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar and is all set to release on February 1.
