Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota Trailer: Abhimanyu-Radhika pack a punch in an ‘unlikely’ superhero film

Vasan Bala’s Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’s trailer is out now and is generating a good response from the audience. The film stars Maine Pyar Kiya actress Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani in the lead role along with Pataakha fame Radhika Madan and Mahesh Manjrekar. The film’s protagonist Abhimanyu is born with a rare disease, congenital insensitivity to pain where he literally can't feel pain, and he is on a quest to vanquish 100 foes.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Abhimanyu shines in this trailer and has already garnered much praise from many Bollywood celebrities.

The trailer starts with Abhimanyu talking about his disease and his life’s goal of defeating his enemies. He is shown sipping water through a pipe as he goes on to explain that keeping hydrated is critical for him as he will never know when he becomes dehydrated and might eventually collapse. Abhimanyu is seen fighting goons and also getting battered during the trailer with blood dripping from his head and his mouth due to erroneously getting knocked down by an electrician and two labourers.

Pataakha girl Radhika also stars in the film and is seen packing in a punch and fighting crime and goons quite effortlessly along with Abhimanyu. Veteran actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar probably plays Abhimanyu’s father in the film as we get to see him telling someone that you must train hard and become the best Karate Man to quash your opponents and stop petty crime.

However, one must mention the young kid who plays Abhimanyu’s younger self; he is a revelation. His antics, his action scenes and his realization on his own weird superpower is gripping.

Abhimanyu’s action scenes are amazing and he looks as if he seriously means business. Now, this is a Bollywood debut worth watching out for.

Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’s trailer was dropped at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and will be screened in the Midnight Madness section of the festival where films in action, horror, shock and fantasy genre are placed.

Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is scheduled to release in October this year.
