The recent first birthday party of Karan Johar’s twins, Yash and Roohi had seen all the filmland tots turn up at the tea party. From Shah Rukh’s youngest, AbRam to Aamir’s little son, Azad, to Kareena and Saif’s Taimur, they all arrived for some fun and frolic as the third floor of Karan’s apartment was converted into a complete kiddie party zone.
Buzz goes that the boys AbRam and Taimur bonded over tons of toy cars – just like their daddies would, we guess! The tots chowed down on bite-sized appetizers, mini salad bowls, main courses, desserts and a Belgian chocolate waffle station. And here’s the best part – the return gifts they received were miniature pianos!

We can imagine the happy – if not tuneful! - thumping that will emanate from the star homes across the city as everyone from Tusshar Kapoor’s son to Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter creates a song and dance over their new toy! Karan even shared pics of his Yash and Taimur playing with their pianos and they do look adorable. He captioned it, “Future musicians!!!!”

Karan had earlier described his twins’ upcoming first birthday celebration as “a small birthday party at home, with just kids their age. I want to keep it simple and intimate this year.” Don’t you just love the generous Karan’s definition of the term ‘simple and intimate’?There have been umpteen occasions when we have glimpsed Johar’s, big heart. During the promotions of Badrinath Ki Dulhania last year, Varun and Alia were in Jaipur. However, promoting this Dharma production wasn't the only purpose of their visit, a source from the Border Safety Force, Rajasthan had revealed. Apparently, the lead pair took the opportunity to meet the widow of Dharma Ram, a slain jawan from Barmer who died in a combat with terrorists in 2016. Karan had also sent a generous cheque to be delivered to the jawan’s widow, on his company’s behalf.
Karan’s many friends vouch that he is kind and generous not only with the material stuff but more importantly, with his love, his time and his advice.
We guess all the piano-tinkling little tots will agree too!
