Hands down, ace designer Tarun Tahiliani has carved a niche for himself in the fashion fraternity for over two decades now. Known as Bollywood’s one of the most sought-after designers, who dresses up the bride tribe, Tarun has now lent his creative expertise to his daughter-in-law as well.
On January 22, Tarun’s son Jahan Tahiliani got married to his long-time girlfriend Ananya Bhandare, the daughter of journalist Namita Bhandare in a low-key yet dreamy ceremony attended by immediate families and close friends. Making for a beautiful bride, Ananya stole the show dressed in designer father-in-law’s exquisite creation.
For the ceremony, the bride walked straight out of a fairytale in a minimalistic ivory-hued lehenga elevated with embellishments, tassels and delicate pearls all over. Her stunning lehenga skirt and intricately detailed choli were teamed with a double dupatta that also made for a veil. An elegant necklace embedded with diamonds and emeralds added to the bling-affair of her look.
Keeping things understated, the bride opted for a subdued glam with winged eyes and a glossy peach pout. She styled her tresses in soft, romantic curls to complete her princess-y look.
