Sai Pallavi announces new film Gargi on 30th birthday, unveils first look posters

Sai Pallavi turned 30 years-old today on May 9 and on the special day treated her fans to the announcement of her upcoming film, Gargi. Taking to social media she shared the first-look posters of Gargi in multiple Indian languages along with a video clip. The film is written and directed by Gautham Ramachandran and it is unclear at the moment whether the film will have a theatrical release or take the OTT route.

Taking to social media, Sai Pallavi shared the clip along with the caption, “I waited months to talk about this film, And finally!!! my birthday is when the stubborn team decided to give in and release this Presenting to you, GARGI, @prgautham83’s brain child!”

She shared the posters of Gargi in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and English and wrote, “#Gargi Give her your blessings!”

Gargi is touted to be an intense drama about a woman’s fight for justice. The film is jointly produced by Ravichandran Ramachandran, Aishwarya Lekshi, Thomas George and Gautham Ramachandhran. Govind Vasantha has composed the musical score for the film while cinematographers Srayanti Premakrishna Akkattu and editor Shafique Mohamed Ali are part of the technical crew.
