Sanju has already created havoc at the box office by collecting a staggering Rs 120.06 crore over the weekend. Already crossing the Rs 200-crore mark worldwide, the film has become the third Hindi-language film to do so after Sultan and Baahubali 2. It collected more than Rs 100 crore in India alone, three days since its release.
Present at the screening was the cast of the film, Ranbir Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Karishma Tanna and Dia Mirza with hubby Sahil Sangha.
Also seen in attendance was director Rajkumar Hirani with screenwriter, Abhijat Joshi. The two were joined by their close friend, Arshad Warsi. Baba Bolta Hain Bas Ho Gaya singer, Papon too attended the bash.
Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film has an ensemble cast in addition to Ranbir Kapoor which includes Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Karishma Tanna, Manisha Koirala, Jim Sarbh, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox star studios, Sanju is all set to be released on June 29, 2018.
