Ellen DeGeneres tests positive for Coronavirus, says 'feeling fine right now'

In September, Ellen DeGeneres started The Ellen DeGeneres Show Season 18 amid allegations of toxic workplace culture. Now, a few months after she resumed shoot, the popular host has tested positive for the novel COVID-19. Ellen, on her Instagram, shared the news of her diagnosis. 

"Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe. Love, Ellen," she wrote.

Ellen, starting The Ellen DeGeneres Show Season 18, issued an apology for the allegations that were levelled against the show's producers and staff members including the host. She said, “If you’re watching because you love me, thank you. If you’re watching because you don’t love me, welcome.”
