‘Game of Thrones’ stars Emilia Clarke and Rose Leslie are in India trying to find peace, end up getting robbed by monkeys too


Emilia Clarke, well known for her role as 'Mother of Dragons' Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones is in India. The actress revealed in an Instagram post that she has come to India find peace “and figuring out that all you’re ever looking for can be found within." She is accompanied by her GOT co-star Rose Leslie who plays Ygritte on the popular TV series.

Emilia shared a series of photos on her Instagram from her visit to the country and captioned it, “NAMASKAR India NAMASKAR #anandaspahimalayas this is NOT an ad, this is just two gals buzzed off our faces on India, peace, being robbed blind by monkeys, (we hardly put up a fight) the best two books I’ve read in years (#theoverstoryshould be mandatory reading the world over), yoga, spice, mamma earth and figuring out that all you’re ever looking for can be found within. Going by the pictures that Emilia has shared it looks like she and Rose are in Rishikesh and have had the experience of attending the Ganga arti. They are staying at a luxury resort named Ananda-In The Himalayas which is located near Rishikesh. Interestingly, Emilia had previously revealed that her grandmother was half Indian.
