Delightful designs always emerge and enthral at the annual Tvashtar showcase by students of the Sophia Polytechnic. And Tvashtar 22 was no exception with the flow of fluid fashion shown off by top models like Anchal Kumar, Candice Pinto and Jaspal Kaur among others.
For show director and choreographer Nisha Haraale it was her tenth year of association with Tvashtar, while her sister Nikki Harale was busy with creating lovely looks of makeup and hair. Keeping the packed house engaged was Hugo D’Souza who compered the proceedings in his usual style. Sophia Polytechnic’s head of the fashion and design Dr. Jignasa Shah and director/principal Sister Anila Verghese were there to warmly welcome each guest.
The chief guest was Anupam Mittal who gave away the several awards. And the awards went to: The Midnight Muse (Best Ramp Appeal) with designers Fayesza Attarwala and Isha Chavan; The Demon Inside (Best All Round Performance) with designers Shaima Sayyed and Hrishita Suvarna; Super Massive Mystery (Best Design Collection) with designers Shikha Shah and Bhagyashri; Zaitoon Momin and Shaikh Anmol (Most Commercially Viable Collection); Choudhari Rutuja and Nachare Shravani (Most Innovative Collection); Shrigaonkar Poorvi, Shah Niyati and Jain Sakshi (Jury Award for Good Effort).
