Articulating a masterpiece in itself, Manish indeed put his heart and soul into curating the looks for the bride and groom where more than 200 artisans came together to put in 3700 hours and 30,000 luxe Swarovski crystals! Keeping in mind their tastes, preferences and love for all things art, the designer meticulously carved out a beautiful wedding trousseau with intricate embroidery detailing of the roman architecture and hand embroideries, that did justice to their fairytale wedding.

BALANCING THINGS OUT

For the mehendi, the designer dressed Kiara in an off-white chikankari lehenga with golden borders. While the lehenga was surreal and dainty, it was her pearl-beaded cape-sleeved blouse that added to the drama! For Sidharth too, Manish paired his vibrant self-toned, mustard sherwani with an intricately detailed Kashmiri shawl to give the groom’s look a bit of an edge.

OTT, IN THE RIGHTFUL WAY

For the Sangeet, Kiara made for a scintillating vision in a personalized artistic ombre lehenga. Featuring meticulous artwork of 98000 sparkling Swarovski crystals that took 4000 hours to craft, this exquisite piece was indeed Manish’s labor of love. Groom Sid oozing majestic charm in a custom velvet sherwani in a stark combination of black and gold. With details being the hero in this look, this sherwani featured intricate threadwork and precious Swarovski crystals.

GOOD’OL MONOCHROME CHARM

Ditching the ethnics, Sid and Kiara turned on the ‘partay’ in modish ensembles custom created by the designer. Bringing in the old world charm, Kiara oozed elegance in a sculptural gown with detailing of a wide squared neck and power sleeves, romanticised with a fish-cut trail. Sid looked every bit dapper in a tailor-made creation ft. a classic turtleneck layered with a velvet blazer that was hand embroidered and crafted with black crystals and beads.

THE ‘HERO’ ELEMENT

While the outfits surely got us reeling in regalia, what really upped the stakes was the jewellery from the designer’s yet-to-be-debuted jewel line. Pairing ombre pinks and classic monochromes with vibrant emeralds, glistening golds with enchanting ruby and subdued off-whites with colourful polkis was a BIG WIN and a definite GAME CHANGER! From the bride’s layer choker to delicate neck pieces and the groom’s majestic rings and rajwada haars, the jewels of this trousseau were indeed a ‘hero element’ that the designer recognized and used to its full potential.

MODISH ETHNICS

Not just the wedding, the post-wedding looks of the bride were a perfect blend of elegance with a dash of sexiness.

Teaming ethnic anarkalis with modish details like a daring back and a feisty neckline, Manish blended the best of both worlds, quite beautifully!

Pretty sure Kiara’s wedding looks and going to cause a massive trend in the bridal biz. Take a bow, Manish!
