Balenciaga issues an apology for controversial ad sexualizing kids
Balenciaga issued an apology for its controversial advertising campaign, which portrayed young children snuggling teddy bears decked up in bondage gear. The kids photographed by Gabriele Galimberti were made public as part of the Balenciaga Gift Shop campaign, which sparked immediate and harsh criticism.
The "problematic" campaign was also raising concerns about the appropriateness of the images. Amid backlashes, the brand ambassador Kim Kardashian re-evaluated her relationship with the luxury fashion house. To stretch the mishap even more, the Business of Fashion (BoF) issued a statement to not include the brand’s creative director and fashion designer Demna in the Global VOICES Award ceremony, 2022.
Besides all the backlashes, the brand was also trolled for launching some highly expensive and unusual products like a trash bag worth Rs. 1.5 Lakh, shoelace-inspired earrings for 20k and bottle slippers and Lays chips bag.

Italian designer Alessandro Michele left Gucci, where he has overseen a surge in sales at the fashion powerhouse since 2015 but has seen his star fade in recent seasons. The Roman designer had an enormously successful nearly eight-year run as a creative director that reversed the fortunes of the Italian heritage label and changed the look of fashion.
Raf Simons puts down a shutter on his eponymous label after 27 years
The eponymous label of Belgian designer Raf Simons is closing after 27 years in the fashion industry. The brand’s spring-summer 2023 collection shown in London in October will be its last, leaving his imprints on the fashion industry that makes references to his career spanning three decades. Simons' career as a designer and his enormous influence on the fashion business continues despite the closure of his namesake label. Since 2020, he has served as Prada's co-creative director, and he will continue to do so.

The price of the sunscreen is Rs 1,800, while the moisturizer is Rs 2,700. Anonymous fashion police called out the actress' brand for having a vague launch.
