Love is in the air and so are the wedding shenanigans. Yes, over the weekend we witnessed many of our tinsel townies taking the plunge with ‘Qubool Hai’ as well as ‘I Do.’ Saturday, February 19 bore witness to two beautiful weddings in the form of Farhan Akhtar- Shibani Dandekar as well as Afsana Khan- Saajz ‘s intimate ceremonies.
While pictures of Afsana and Saajz’s wedding ceremony made our hearts melt and Shibani-Farhan’s intimate affair was all things beautiful, this time, it was the bridesmaid and the best men who stole the show. Giving us a peek at their unconventional lehengas and dapper suits, these celebs showed us how to ace the wedding guest lok.
ANUSHA DANDEKAR
Anusha walked straight out of the fairytale dressed in a dreamy white Manish Malhotra lehenga adorned with delicate floral detailing on both, blouse and skirt. A statement choker accentuated her plunging neckline. Keeping her glam radiant, the stunner opted for popping lids, muted glam and a nude lip to complete her look.
AMRITA ARORA
Amrita dazzled her way into the wedding with her pristine white Manish Malhotra lehenga delicately decorated with sequins, tassels and detailed embroidery work. She placed her sheer white dupatta to strategically work as a cape. Going easy on the accessory front, the actress let her scintillating outfit steal the thunder. A radiant glam with nude lips and textured feathers finished her look.
RHEA CHAKRABORTY
Rhea personified sunshine in a minimalistic Ridhi Mehra lehenga that bore intricate embroidered details. A delicate choker set accessorized her look furthermore. Keeping things understated, the actress opted for a subdued glam with a fresh face and tied her tresses in a simple ponytail.
HIMANSHI KHURANA
Himanshi made our jaws drop with her black and gold geometric saree from label Manish Malhotra saree. Opting for an understated route, the diva teamed her look with minimal jewels and rounded it off with a nude lip, shimmery lids and a poker straight hairdo.
UMAR RIAZ
Umar looked every bit dapper in a velvet suit from Mayank Chawla that bore a dazzling horse motif on the blazer. A shiny black shirt put together his baraati look.
RASHAMI DESAI
Rashami looked drop-dead gorgeous twirling in her intricately embellished lehenga from label Kamal Bhai Saree Sangam. A statement choker set added to the bling affair of her look furthermore. Keeping her glam dewy, the stunner put together her look with glossy lips, blushed cheeks, shimmery lids and tresses styled into soft curls.
HRITHIK ROSHAN
Hrithik made for a desi best man for dulhe raja Farhan in a classic kurta pyjama set layred with a blush pink koti. A well-kept stubble and pulled-back hairdo added a grungy element to his ethnic look.
