Tis the season of love and weddings as television and Bollywood’s another favourite beaut got hitched in a dreamy ceremony. After keeping things lowkey and hush-hush for quite a while, our beloved Naagin, Mouni Roy took a plunge and said ‘I Do’ to her longtime boyfriend and Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar. The lovebirds solidified their commitment to each other in a close-knit ceremony at Goa’s Hilton Resort, with a selected few in attendance.

From their understated yet elegant décor to fun pre-wedding shenanigans, everything about this ceremony was dreamy. But what took the cake for us were the bride’s sartorial choices for her D-day! From boho mehendi look to traditional Malayali wedding look, Mouni’s every outfit was up to the mark.

Ditching the quintessential yellows, Mouni made for a divine vision in a white Lukhnowi sharara set with delicate Chikankari details.

She accentuated her look with delicate floral accessories and kept her makeup minimal.

MEHENDI

For the mehendi function, Mouni took a boho route in a tasseled Payal Singhal lehenga choli set that featured an extravagant embroidery work.

A pair of chunky earrings and statement maang tikka elevated the look of her bright yellow attire. A matte glam with winged eyes and nude pink pout put together her look, effortlessly.

WEDDING

For her Malayali wedding, the diva looked like a dream in a traditional Bengali ‘lal par sada’ or a red-bordered white saree. A set of exquisite temple jewellery featuring a long and a choker neckpiece, stunning mathapatti, elegant jhumkas, chunky kadas and a statement kamar band accentuated her wedding outfit furthermore.

Keeping in mind the South-Indian traditions, the diva kept her glam understated with nude lips and smokey eyes and adorned her long braid with a fresh chunky gajra. Stunning, really!
