The glamour quotient at Umang 2020 held on Sunday, January 19, shot high as our tinsel town beauts appeared at the red carpet of the gala putting their best fashion foot forward. Serene drapes to ravishing gowns and blingy ensembles, this soiree witnessed it all!

PRIYANKA CHOPRA JONAS
Priyanka channelled her inner ‘desi girl’ at the gala and sizzled in a bright hand-woven silk saree with pomegranate motifs from Ekaya Banaras x House of Masaba. She opted for minimal accessories with a pair of statement danglers, rings and bangles from Minerali, Anmol and Sangeet Boorchra. Keeping it minimal at the makeup front with nude glam, minuscule bindi and textured waves, PeeCee stole our hearts away.
KATRINA KAIF
Katrina looked like an ethereal goddess in this sheer and embellished drape from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Dainty drop earrings added a hint of dazzle to her serene attire. Opting for her statement glam with muted hues and tousled curls, she looked event ready. Although we feel she should experiment more with her HMU, don’t you think?
KRITI SANON
Kriti gave us the first glimpse of this intricately detailed lehenga from Shantanu & Nikhil’s newly launched S/S’20 collection. Her cocktail lehenga was teamed up with statement-making jumkas, chunky floral kadas and rings. Kohl-rimmed smokey eyes, nude lips and floral bun accentuated her ethnic look.
JANHVI KAPOOR
Janhvi looked resplendent in a red hot Manish Malhotra drape that featured glittery and encrusted embroidery. She let her glam take a back foot to let her sexy saree do all the talking. Sexy back, plunging neck, barely-there makeup and wild curls…minimalistic look with maximum impact!
RAKUL PREET
Another saree naari burning the house down! Rakul’s sequined drape from Krésha Bajaj with a textured blouse hit us right in the feels. Minimal yet statement-making accessories from Gehna Jewellers and Azotiique accentuated her shimmery look furthermore. Bronze glam, nude lips and beach wave curls added finishing touches to her look.
DIANA PENTY
Diana put on a show of colours with her ivory & pink tie-dye sequined saree from label Akanksha Gajria. A floral bustier blouse from the label’s collection added drama to her popping attire. Dainty choker from Esme added bling to her peppy look. On the makeup front, Diana opted for shimmery eyes, bright pink lips and straight long locks.
SHRADDHA KAPOOR
Shraddha painted an elegant picture in this ethic Anita Dongre gaura set that featured delicate embroidery. Statement danglers from the designer’s accessory collection added a hint of dazzle to her surreal gharara. Winged eyes, muted glam, gajra adorned half bun and that minuscule bindi defined all things love!
ANANYA PANDAY
Ananya added a millennial touch to the soiree with her popping yellow lehenga from Arpita Mehta’s collection. Her pineapple yellow Ahir lehenga featured mirror and shell details. Minimal glam with soft smokey eyes, pink lips and a spunky braided ponytail rounded off her Gen Z ethnic attire.
