Sonam, Karishma, Esha and other celebs give us innovative ways of wearing a Saree

Saree has been a craze among our B-town ladies. What is interesting is the way each celeb has draped this traditional nine-yard fabric. Hats off to designers and stylists and majorly to celebrities for sporting such phenomenal looks and keeping our tradition alive.

Dainty Sheer-ing

Raazi fame, Amruta Khanvilkar takes the road less taken in this delicate organza saree by Urvashi Sethi's brand Picchika. The saree beautifully bears flamingo flowers that are hand-painted.

GO BOLD, GO DENIM

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja continues to set high fashion standards as she proves to be the nation's fashion icon. We are awed by this choice of Sonam and could not have been more proud. This distressed saree was designed by Diksha Khanna and styled by Rhea Kapoor. The accessories by Eurumme highlights this offbeat look.

timelessness

Sonali Bendre takes the traditional route with this silk hand-woven saree but glams it up with the colours. None could make yellow, green and blue work so beautifully together but stylist Akanksha Gajria and designer Payal Khandwala. Even those shoulder-length Azotiique earrings with a tinge of pink go so absolutely well.

SIZZLING DRAPES

Yes, Esha Gupta, no kidding sizzles in this Falguni and Shane Peacock saree. Especially those tassels towards the ends are the spotlight of the look. Styled by Aastha Sharma, Esha gracefully takes on this sexy look. The heavy embroideries on the saree and the Zoya Jewels earrings add to the exquisitiveness.

A daring choice but Anamika Khanna ensembles are truly design driven. This bright red saree is a very unique drape challenging the traditional saree norms. The belt adds the edge to the otherwise delicate silk. Styled by Aastha Sharma, her jewels are from Outhouse and Amrapali and those shoes are of Jimmy Choo.

WHITE AND SLEEK

Elegance in the most simplistic form is Karishma Kapoor in this handloom linen saree. It's not just white but a beautiful grey forms the pallu and blouse. Soft and summer ideal, this is definitely our next saree pick. The antique silver jewellery from Azotiique were good picks by stylist, Eshaa Amiin.

EAST MEETS WEST

Tamannah Bhatia is goals in this look. The cape is gorgeous as well as the desert rose saree. The details are stunning, like the sheer at the pleats and the embroidery. Wedding inspiration for all the to-be-brides out there. Those striking earrings are from Minerali and we are glad the stylist, Archa Mehta opted for these to dangling ones.
