B-town’s original bold and beautiful actress Bipasha Basu started her career way back in 1996. The model-turned-actress who debuted in the Akshay Kumar thriller Ajnabee, reigned as the country’s sex symbol ever since. The woman who’s had a series of hits and flops on the big-screen never failed to please her fans with ever-growing style, from the onset of her career.

The Bengali bombshell has been often cited as one of the sexiest sirens in B-town and it’s really easy to see why! Even though we’ve been big fans of this actress, since the beginning of her career, we can’t deny the fact that this diva has gone a major image overhaul. Mrs. Grover who doesn’t shy away from experimentation has evolved into a true fashionista.

Indian ethnic dressing has always been a part of Basu’s wardrobe. Since 2011, the star is has been seen in saris on the red carpet. Some of our favorite looks seen on the star are the floor-grazing Anarkali by Anita Dongre worn earlier in March, and the sheer embellished sari the star recently.

In the past year, Basu has also taken to a streamlined aesthetic, favouring tailored dresses and jumpsuits, forgoing prints and bold colours. There’s no doubt Basu’s aesthetic has evolved through the years but the star’s enthusiastic experimentation has her fans coming back for more.

And lastly, one can hardly forget the red carpet moments which had us all swooning over the Bengali babe. From the Gaurav Gupta gown she wore to the IIFA Awards this year to the Glamour Style Award, Bipasha surely is a natural beauty, but that doesn't mean she's afraid to try risky new makeup trends and statement hairstyles.

From being one of India's first supermodels to ushering a whole generation of adolescent boys out of puberty-Bipasha Basu has reigned supreme for the longest time, as the country's premier sex symbol.
