The first installment in the Krishnavataram trilogy, Krishnavataram: Part 1 - Hridayam, received tremendous love from audiences across the nation upon its release. Bringing the devotional tale to audiences, the film touched the hearts of millions with its divine energy. Now, after its successful run in India, the film is all set to reach global audiences.

Adding to this special journey, the film has received the divine blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of The Art of Living. Having loved the film, Gurudev has stepped in as a guiding force for producer Dr. Sajan Raj Kurup Creativeland and supporting the film's global presentation and Trilogy helping take its divine message to audiences worldwide. This Janmashtami World Forum For Art and Culture (WFCA) and Raj Kurup's Creative Lands makes the association official in the presence of Gurudev. They have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Gurudev who will be guiding the team further.

The collaboration will begin by taking the film on a wider global theatrical journey, reaching the Indian diaspora and audiences around the world in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English.

While expressing his love for the vision of the film, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar says, “Krishna means the most attractive the Self. It is the divinity that is the most attractive; the energy that pulls everything to it. When you realize your life and the whole world is just a Leela (play), then Krishna is born inside you".

Producer Dr. Sajan Raj Kurup says, “With the blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who has nurtured the entire world with his grace and transformed the lives of millions, this film finds its best place at the feet of Gurudev. With Krishnavataram, we take pride in taking every bit of Indian culture to the world and presenting our cultural beliefs, which are a fundamental part of our very existence. Our vision is to build Krishnavataram into a global cultural movement that celebrates cinema, art, and legacy".

The World Forum for Art and Culture (WFAC) is a global cultural wing founded in September 2020 under The Art of Living, inspired by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s vision of a "One World Family" (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam). WFAC aims to bring together global artists, performers, and art enthusiasts.

Together, these initiatives are intended to create a contemporary gateway into Krishna’s extraordinary universe while remaining deeply rooted in the philosophical, artistic and cultural traditions from which it originates.

The global journey of Krishnavataram: Part 1 – Hridayam marks the first step towards taking India’s epic cultural tale to the world. More than just a film, it is a journey towards transforming this story into a cultural movement, and this is indeed only the beginning.
