The audience is going to get a dose of tremendous action, horror and humor in Maddock Productions' next horror-comedy film 'Thama'. In this film, Ayushmann Khurrana is playing the role of a vampire, while Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the female lead. Now Varun Dhawan's entry in the film has increased the curiosity of the audience even more.
According to a report, Varun Dhawan has become a part of the film 'Thama' and he has also completed about 6 days of shooting for this film. Interestingly, Varun will be seen in his 'Bhediya' character, which the audience had earlier seen in the films 'Bhediya' and 'Stree 2'. Varun had also done a cameo in 'Stree 2' and now he is returning in the same character in 'Thama'.
'Thama' will see a clash between vampires and werewolves, which is considered to be the biggest USP of this universe. Producer Dinesh Vijan and director Aditya Sarpotdar have prepared this film on a grand scale. The action scenes of the film will be presented in a powerful way especially through VFX. These high-octane action sequences were shot in March and April.
'Thama' is not just a film, but a part of the Maddock horror-comedy cinematic universe. More films of this universe will be released in the coming time, including 'Bhediya 2', which will hit the big screen next year. Apart from this, films like 'Shakti Shalini' and 'Chamundha' are also in the works. Overall, 'Thama' will be a unique amalgamation of horror, action and comedy, in which for the first time a direct clash between vampire and werewolf will be seen.
