Madhur Bhandarkar recently revealed this, which has now become a topic of discussion in the industry. The director is included in the list of those filmmakers who achieve success even by making low budget films.

Madhur Bhandarkar has so far made great films like "Fashion," "Page 3," and "Chandni Bar." The director said that when he cast these actresses for his films, he decided to cut his fees. Madhur said that it was the dedication of these actresses towards the film and their love for their art that inspired him to do so.

When Madhur Bhandarkar was asked while talking to Bollywood Hungama whether he faced any kind of trouble because of the star actors, he immediately said that every female artist who worked with him reduced their fees. He said, "I had only a budget of 1.5 crore for Chandni Bar, so Tabu did not charge any fees for the film. She took the money as per Bombay or Delhi and nothing else. She did it with great conviction. Work done."

After this the director also revealed the names of some more actresses. He said that Raveena Tandon for power and Bipasha Basu for corporate had reduced their fees. Even Priyanka Chopra (fashion) and Kareena Kapoor (heroine) cut their fees. Madhur said, "They did not charge me the fees as per the market, because they were excited to be a part of these films. The entire film rested on their shoulders, so everyone reduced their fees."
