Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's Mr. And Mrs.Mahi is one of the highly-anticipated films of the year. The trailer was launched on Sunday during the ongoing IPL 2024 tournament. Yesterday, the makers unveiled the first song. Now, as the countdown begins, fans are excited to see the mix of cricket, aspirations and love in Mr. And Mrs.Mahi.

Mr. And Mrs.Mahi marks the second directorial of Sharan Sharma. Known for his dedication towards work, it has come to light that the young filmmaker did thorough research of the subject and ensured everyone on set got the beat of the film right.

In fact, Sharan made the crew of Mr. And Mrs.Mahi watch 100 different videos of cricket. This helped the actors hone their characters. Before rolling the cameras, he prepared a to-do list informing the crew of their daily targets. This proves that he's a man of discipline. 

When it came to his lead actors, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, Sharan made sure their performances are authentic and no short cuts were taken to create key sequences in Mr. And Mrs.Mahi. 

Mr. And Mrs.Mahi releases in theatres on May 31. It is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
