Kareena Kapoor Predicts: Abhishek Bachchan Set to Surpass Amitabh Bachchan

In a past interview, Kareena Kapoor referred to Abhishek Bachchan as one of her 'dearest companions', as they both debuted in Bollywood with Refugee in 2000.
Undoubtedly one of Bollywood's most renowned actors, Kareena Kapoor embarked on her film journey alongside Abhishek Bachchan in JP Dutta's Refugee (2000). Not only did the film receive critical acclaim, but it also earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In a May 2000 interview with Rediff, just before her acting debut, Kareena candidly discussed her bond with Abhishek and shared her perspective on his father, the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.

When questioned about her assessment of Abhishek Bachchan's performance in the film "Refugee," Kareena expressed, "I consider him to be a vastly superior actor. His father, Amitabh Bachchan, was unparalleled, but Abhishek has the potential to surpass even that. I firmly believe in his capabilities. Moreover, as a person, he's truly exceptional and holds a special place among my closest friends."

Kareena reminisced about her debut scene in Refugee, describing it as a romantic encounter between herself and Abhishek. She emphasized their immediate comfort, attributing it to their familial connection and close friendship. Kareena noted that the chemistry between them was evident right from the outset.
