Gauri Khan Shares Video of Ed Sheeran's Performance of 'Thinking Out Loud' at Farah Khan's Residence.
Pop sensation Ed Sheeran, in India for a concert, enjoyed a gathering with Shah Rukh Khan on Wednesday. At the event, he engaged with Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan. Performing his hit "Thinking Out Loud," Sheeran entertained the guests, prompting Gauri to share snapshots and footage of the festivities on her social media.
Ed was seen donning a jacket from Aryan Khan’s upscale brand D’yavol X, a gift he received during the party. Gauri expressed her delight in the caption, stating, "Such a joy to hear you sing @teddysphotos!!! Thank you for joining us for the evening… (And, by the way, the @dyavol.x jacket looks great on you)."
Earlier, Ed had posted a video of himself dancing Shah Rukh’s iconic move alongside the superstar. Shah Rukh showed clear admiration for Ed's attempt. In response to Ed's Instagram post, Farah commented, "If this were my final directorial moment, I'd depart content."
This marks Ed Sheeran's third visit to India. His initial trip was in 2015, followed by another in 2017. During his 2017 visit, Farah Khan hosted a party for him, confessing later that she initially didn't recognize him when agreeing to host. Recounting the amusing incident on Bharti Singh's podcast, Farah chuckled, "At the party, I was questioning the DJ, 'Why are you playing somber music?' He replied, 'Ma'am, this is Ed Sheeran's music.'" She noted Ed's enjoyment, mentioning, "He had a blast and preferred Bollywood tunes over his own." "He left around 2 am as he had a concert the following day. Despite his invitation, I didn't attend," she added. Ed is scheduled to perform in Mumbai on March 16th.
