The much-awaited trailer of Vicky Kaushal’s starrer Sam Bahadur was launched today by the Chief of the Army Staff Manoj Pande at Manekshaw centre in New Delhi.
Featuring Vicky in the role of Filed Marshall Sam Manekshaw, Fatima Sana Shaikh as late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Sanya Malhotra as Silloo, Sam's wife, the trailer takes forward the teaser's thrill.
A nearly three minute long trailer offers an insight peek into Sam Manekshaw’s leadership and the challenges he faced to win of a war despite political pressure. Director Meghna Gulzar throws light on Manekshaw’s illustrious 40-year military career, his equation with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and how they worked together to defeat Pakistan. The trailer concludes with Sam saying, "Hum rahe ya na rahi iss vardi ka gaurav hamesha rehna chahiye (Whether we live or die, the honor of this uniform must always endure)."
