Aanand L Rai's Raanjhanaa celebrated its 10th anniversary today. Starring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Dhanush and Abhay Deol, the film was successful at the box office. On the special occasion, Aanand took the opportunity to announce his third collaboration with Dhanush. Titled Tere Ishk Mein, the teaser of the film was shared on social media today. It featured the actor sporting a thick beard and long hair.
In a statement, Aanand told, "There couldn't be a more perfect day to unveil our next venture, Tere Ishk Mein, with Dhanush. Raanjhanaa holds a special place in my heart, and the love and adoration it continues to receive from fans worldwide is truly heartwarming." Raanjhanaa marked Dhanush's Bollywood debut. He joined hands with Aanand for Atrangi Re in 2021.
Sharing the teaser, the filmmaker wrote, "Kuch kahaniyan kisi purane dost jaisi mil jaati hain! Jo haath nahin milaati, seedhe aake gale lag jaati hain…10 saal pehle ek aisi hi kahani mili thi humein... Kundan ki kahani. Dost tha mera, par jee naa saka... uska mood nahi tha jeena ka! Ab 10 saal baad phir ek kissa aaya hai; Kundan aur ye ladka ek se hi hain, bus iska mood duniya phoonk dene ka hai! Sirf aapke liye…’Tere Ishk Mein’."
The female lead is yet to be announced. A R Rahman is reuniting with Aanand for the music of the film.
