IIFA 2023 winners: Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan win big for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Vikram Vedha; Drishyam 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 sweep multiple trophies

The 23rd International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA) was held in Abu Dhabi over the weekend. It started with a press conference on Thursday followed by the star-studded IIFA Rocks where Bollywood’s favourite designer, Manish Malhotra, showcased a special collection.

On Saturday, IIFA came to a conclusion with the main awards ceremony. Indian actors and Hindi films were honoured at the event. Alia Bhatt won the Best Actor In A Leading Role Female for Gangubai Kathiawadi whereas Hrithik Roshan became the Best Actor In A Leading Role Male for Vikram Vedha. Ajay Devgn-Tabu's Drishyam 2 won the Best Film trophy and R Madhavan bagged the Best Director award for his directorial debut- Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
