Singer Lucky Ali has courted controversy after claiming that the word ‘Brahman’ was derived from ‘Abram’ in a since then deleted Facebook post. The singer received tremendous backlash for his seemingly uninformed post by netizens and he had to issue an apology.
He had written, “The name ‘Brahman' comes from ‘Brahma' which comes from ‘Abram' .. which comes from Abraham or Ibrahim.. The Brahmans are a lineage of Ibrahim. Alaihisalam... The Father of all Nations ... so whys everyone just arguing and fighting without reasoning amongst themselves?”
However, after tremendous backlash he had to apologize and delete his post.
