Shah Rukh Khan tops TIME magazine’s annual readers’ poll, beats the likes of Lionel Messi and Prince Harry-Meghan Markle

Shah Rukh Khan is the undisputed Badshah of Bollywood and he proved this once again with the stupendous success of his last release, Pathaan. The film marked a comeback for SRK who was on a hiatus of sorts after Zero (2018)’s debacle and is the first release in four years. Now, the actor has emerged as the winner of a leading magazine’s reader poll.

SRK has become the winner of the 2023 TIME100 poll, in which readers voted for individuals/groups they felt deserved a spot on TIME’s annual list of the most influential people across the world. As per the publication, more than 1.2 million votes were cast and SRK earned 4% of the votes. He beat popular names like Serena Williams, Michelle Yeoh, Lionel Messi, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
