Satish Kaushik death: Vikas Malu's second wife fails to show up for questioning after saying she won't cooperate in the investigation, to be issued a fresh notice

After being summoned by the Delhi Police in connection with the death of veteran actor Satish Kaushik, businessman Vikas Malu’s second wife Saanvi Malu said that she won’t cooperate in the investigation until the investigating inspector with 'suspicious role' is changed. Vikas Malu’s second wife, who leveled serious allegations against her husband was summoned by the Delhi Police to record her statement in connection on Monday. She was called for questioning at 11 am on Monday but did not show up. She will be issued a fresh notice.

Police said, so far, the statements of about 25 to 30 guests and the staff present at Malu's farmhouse on the night Satish died, have been recorded and nothing suspicious has come to light so far. "The postmortem report said he (Kaushik) died after suffering a cardiac arrest. We are also awaiting the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) and other reports which would shed further light on the matter. The relatives of the deceased (Satish Kaushik) have not raised suspicions of any foul play," an officer said.

He added that the blood and some other samples have been sent for tests at the forensic laboratory in Rohini, Delhi. FSL officials said the samples have been received and reports will be out soon. An FSL official said, "The blood test would determine if there was any intoxicant in his blood, while the stomach test would also be done to check for the presence of any substance. The reports will be handed over to the Delhi Police soon."

Satish passed away in Gurugram at the age of 66 on March 9. The veteran actor breathed his last after suffering a heart attack in the NCR. He was visiting his friend in Gurugram when his health deteriorated and he asked his driver to take him to the hospital. However, he suffered a heart attack in the car and could not be saved.
