Weeks after Akshay Kumar shot for a promo for the third film in his hit comedy franchise Hera Pheri with original co-stars Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt has now confirmed that he is also a part of Hera Pheri 3. The news comes also after Suniel shared a note on the business of films and said that it is great to be back on the sets of Hera Pheri 3 with Paresh and Akshay.
Speaking at a press conference recently, Sanjay confirmed doing Hera Pheri 3 and said, “Yes, I am doing the film. It will be exciting to shoot with the whole team. It's a great franchise, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. Firoz aur mera rishta bhi bahut purana hai (I have a close relationship with producer Firoz Nadiadwala), and it's great to be together with Akshay (Kumar), Suniel anna (Shetty), and Paresh (Rawal)."

The film is being directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. In an interview to a leading tabloid, Paresh had given out a few details about the film and said, “Hera Pheri 3 will be shot in Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai as the film's characters are set to do hera pheri globally.”
Hera Pheri 3 is one of the most eagerly-awaited sequels. The original film has achieved cult status and is a favourite with fans of all ages. The first film was directed by Priyadarshan and also starred Tabu and Om Puri while the second, Phir Hera Pheri was directed by Neeraj Vora and featured Rimi Sen, Bipasha Basu, Rajpal Yadav and Johny Lever.
