Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra made many hearts melt with their stunning and love-filled wedding albums. While the pictures were gorgeous, it was the wedding video that left everyone in tears. Shared a few days after the wedding, Kiara and Sidharth set major couple goals in the jaw-droppingly beautiful and heartwarming clip. Now, at an awards ceremony on Saturday, Kiara opened up about her wedding and the walk that featured in the video.
Kiara said she got emotional as she walked down the aisle with the brothers holding a canopy of flowers. The actress spoke about the wedding publicly for the first time. She said, "Main bahut emotional thi lekin jaise hi darwaze khule, and I saw him, andar se I was like, ‘Yay! I’m getting married. Aur woh feeling leke main aage chali. And of course, if you marry someone you love then you will feel that way na?"
In the wedding video, Kiara walked the aisle under a phoolon ki chaadar or canopy of flowers held by her brothers. As she reached the stage, she broke into an impromptu jig. Sidharth, who held back his tears on seeing his bride, jokingly looked at his watch and asked her to hurry up. The song titled Ranjha was rewritten and recreated especially for Kiara and Sidharth. It originally featured in their film Shershaah.
Sidharth and Kiara got married on February 7 in Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace after dating each other for a couple of years.
