The Night Manager director Sandeep Modi, who is currently garnering appreciation for the recently released show, has now cracked a big deal with Dharma Productions. Karan has signed a two-film deal with Sandeep and it is going to be a bid-budget one.
A source close to the production house informed us, "It is going to be a big budget action film for Dharma Production and Sandeep has been working on it for over 2 years. The film will go on floors by the end of this year. The star cast hasn't been finalised yet but the casting will begin soon."

About the second film, the source revealed, "Not many details are out yet but Sandeep's idea has received approval form Karan Johar."
Before The Night Manager, Sandeep worked on Sushmita Sen's much-appreciated web debut Arya with Ram Madhvani and the Marathi film Chumbak.
