The drama around Rakhi Sawant's nikaah finally settled down after Adil Khan Durrani finally made it official. The actress got married in July last year in an intimate ceremony. The pictures from the close-knit nikaah ceremony went viral on social media last week.
After maintaining silence over the news of marrying Rakhi, Adil finally confirmed it. Putting an end to the drama, he wrote on Instagram, "So here’s an announcement finally, I never said I am not married to you Rakhi. Just had to handle a few things so had to be quiet, happy married life to us Rakhi (pappudi)"
After pictures and videos from the nikaah went viral, Rakhi came out in public and claimed Adil refused to accept her as his wife and also denied marrying her. When approached by a leading daily, he told that his family is yet to accept her.
On Saturday, Rakhi broke down while talking to a group of paparazzi. She got emotional as she spoke about her mother's ill health and Adil's denial.
