Ayan Mukerji made the nation restless after dropping in the teaser of the song Kesariya from his directorial Brahmastra before releasing the trailer. Fans were eagerly waiting for the full version of the romantic number. Putting an end to their wait, Ayan finally released the entire song on social media today.
Kesariya is the first song from Brahmastra to be released. The romantic number is composed by Pritam, penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and sung by Arijit Singh. It is shot in Varanasi and is picturised on Brahmastra's lead pair and Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Sharing the song, Alia wrote, "Our sound of love, is now yours Kesariya out now!"
Along with Hindi, Kesariya has also been launched in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures, Brahmastra will release theatrically on September 9 across 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada with a stellar ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
