Shakti Kapoor reacts to Siddhanth Kapoor's detention in Bengaluru drug bust, says 'don’t know what is happening'

This morning, news of Shakti Kapoor's son and Shraddha Kapoor's brother Siddhanth Kapoor being detained by the Bengaluru police made it to the headlines. On Sunday, the cops conducted a raid at a posh pub at MG Road when a rave party was taking place, after which Siddhanth along with five others was detained. Now, his father and Bollywood star Shakti Kapoor has reacted to it. 

Reacting to the news, Shakti told a leading news website, “I got to know about this news from India Today. I don’t have any idea. I don’t know anything about this. When I got up at 9 am, news was coming that he had been detained. I have no idea. The whole family is trying to get in touch. No one is picking up the call. I don’t know what is happening.”

As per sources, Siddhanth along with five others were detained by the cops. The actor reportedly tested positive for drug consumption. PeepingMoon sources said that the cops are yet to verify whether the detained people consumed drugs at the party or before it. 

Siddhanth Kapoor is an actor by profession and has been seen in movies like Haseena Parker and Chehre, among others.
