The nation woke up to the tragic news of Prema Kiran's demise. Popularly known for her illustrious work in Marathi films, the actress reportedly passed away due to a major heart attack at the age of 61.
Prema Kiran's family is yet to release an official statement in the media. Apart from being an actress, she was also a producer. She did films not only in Marathi but in Hindi and multiple other Indian languages.
On March 15, Prema Kiran shared a video of herself. It was her last post.
Prema Kiran is best remembered for her roles in films like Dhoom Dhadak (1985), Madness (2001), Arjun Deva (2001), Kunku Zale Vaari (2005) and Lagnachi Varat Londonchaya Gharat (2009).
