Karan Johar is all set to throw a lavish birthday party for his Dharma Productions CEO and close friend Apoorva Mehta tomorrow night at a plush hotel in Mumbai. Apoorva, who is turning 50 tomorrow, will ring in his big day with KJo and all his friends from the industry. 

Ace set designer Amrita Mahal, who is known for set designing of several Dharma films including Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Brahmastra, is designing the theme of the starry birthday bash. The theme of the party is all things glittery and the colour code is golden-black. Looks like it is going to be one of the grandest parties of B-town.

The guest list includes Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria, Akshay Kumar & Janhvi Kapoor, among others. 

Apoorva has been working with Karan for Dharma Productions since 2005. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna was the first film he worked on. Together, the duo has produced several blockbusters under the banner of Dharma Productions.
