On Saturday, an intimate picture of Jacqueline Fernandez and conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar went viral on social media. In the picture, the actress flaunted a hickey, also known as a love bite, whereas the conman was seen kissing on her nose. Hours after the leaked image created a stir, Jacqueline issued a statement on social media asking for privacy. The actress requested the media to not circulate images that were personal.
Jacqueline, in her statement, wrote, "This country and its people have given me tremendous love and respect. This includes my friends from the media, from whom I have learned a lot. I'm currently going through a rough patch but I'm sure that my friends and my fans will see me through. It is with this trust that I would request my media friends to not circulate images of a nature that intrude my privacy and personal space. You would not do this to your own loved ones, am sure you would not do this to me either. Hoping that justice and good sense prevails. Thank you."
Jacqueline is a witness in the Rs. 200 crore money laundering case against Sukesh, actress Leena Maria Paul and six others. The ED summoned the actress several times to record her statement. As per reports, Sukesh has claimed that he was in a relationship with Jacqueline. Reports stated that the actress received expensive gifts from the conman, who is in jail since 2021. Sukesh reportedly gifted jewellery, diamond-studded jewellery sets, crockery, four Persian cats (the cost of one cat is around Rs 9 lakh) and a horse worth Rs 52 lakh to Jacqueline.
According to reports, Sukesh conned Jacqueline by promising to produce a Rs 500 crore superhero project with her. The actress is yet to talk about Sukesh in the media. Recently, her mother Kim Fernandez reportedly suffered a heart stroke in Bahrain and was taken to a hospital.
