Ranveer Singh skips 'lappad' from wife Deepika Padukone, calls himself 'husband of the century' after guessing name of temple visited on anniversary

After entertaining fans through his films, Ranveer Singh has donned the hat of a quizmaster for Colors' upcoming picture-based quiz show titled The Big Picture. Produced by Salman Khan's production banner SK Films, the biweekly weekend show will go on air from October 16. Now, days before Ranveer marks his television debut, he sat down to answer numerous questions based on pictures from his own Instagram handle. In a promo shared by Colors, Ranveer was shown a picture of him and his wife Deepika Padukone at a temple, and was asked to guess the temple's name.

Showcasing his funny side, the actor said, "I should know, obviously I should know otherwise I'll get a lappad (slap) when I get back home. Basically, Deepika and I thought we should do something special on our first anniversary. As you know, our life is similar to 2 States (Chetan Bhagat's novel). Her family is from Bengaluru, mine is from Mumbai. So we thought since it's our first anniversary, why don't we visit both places. We went to Golden Temple in Amritsar but before that, we visited the temple seen in the picture, which is Tirupati temple." When he got the answer right, he said, "Come on, husband of the century."
