Phillauri actress Mehreen Pirzada calls off her engagement with Bhavya Bishnoi, says 'I have no further association with him'

Mehreen Pirzada, on Saturday, issued a statement on social media to inform that she has called off her engagement with Bhavya Bishnoi. The actress, who starred with Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma in Phillauri, is a known face down South. Mehreen told her fans that the decision to call off the engagement was mutual and from now on, she has no further association with Bhavya, his family members and friends. 

"Bhavya Bishnoi and I have decided to break off our engagement and not go ahead with the wedding. It’s a decision that has been taken amicably and in the best interest. With respect in my heart I would like to say that from now on I have no further association with Bhavya Bishnoi, any of his family members or friends. This is the only statement I will be making regarding this and I hope that everyone respects my privacy as this is a very private matter. Meanwhile, I will continue to work and am looking forward to giving my best in my future projects and performances," Mehreen wrote in a statement.

Mehreen, who is the sister of actor Gurfateh Pirzada, got engaged to Bhavya, son of politician Kuldeep Bishnoi, in March this year.  Bhavya proposed to Mehreen in the Maldives when the couple went scuba diving. The engagement happened at a fort in Jaipur. The ceremony was grand yet intimate. Days after the engagement, Mehreen and Bhavya contracted COVID-19. 

Workwise, Mehreen is busy with Anil Ravipudi's F3 co-starring Venkatesh, Varun Tej and Tamannaah Bhatia.
