This day last year, while the world was still coping with the loss of talented actor Irrfan, the country received yet another bad news about the death of legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. It has been a year since Rishi passed away at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai after his two-year-long battle with leukaemia. Rishi left the world of living on April 30, 2020 and Bollywood has not been the same ever since.
On the actor's first death anniversary, his daughter & jewelry designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahni got emotional as she put up a tribute post on Instagram. Sharing a collage of her childhood picture with Rishi along with a recent picture, Riddhima wrote, "If only i could hear you call me mushk once more ...

On March 25, the Kapoor family held a small meet on 11 months of Rishi Kapoor's demise. Riddhima had shared a photo of herself with her brother Ranbir Kapoor, which seemed to have been clicked at the prayer meet.
Rishi was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2018. He spent around a year in New York for his treatment. In September 2019, the actor returned home in Mumbai with his wife.
