Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and Luv Ranjan's untitled film, has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor is currently under home quarantine and his mother Neetu Kapoor informed on Instagram that he is recovering well. Reportedly, Ranbir caught the virus on the sets of Brahmastra co-starring Alia Bhatt.
On the other hand, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is also shooting with Alia for Gangubai Kathiawadi, has reportedly contracted Coronavirus. While fans of the actress were worried for her, there is a piece of good news. According to a leading daily, Alia has tested negative but she has isolated herself. "Alia takes the test nearly every day and today also she has tested negative but has still isolated herself. Ranbir Kapoor caught the virus on the sets of ‘Brahmastra’ and is recovering currently," the source told.
While Sanjay is yet to issue a statement, Neetu informed Ranbir's fans about his health. She wrote, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions "
