'Ranbir Kapoor tests COVID-19 positive, self quarantine at home,' confirms Neetu Kapoor

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has affected the entire world. Now, as the Government of India has kickstarted the vaccination process, there is a sudden surge in the number of cases once again. Amid this, Ranbir Kapoor has tested positive for Coronavirus. The Bollywood actor's mother, Neetu Kapoor, confirmed the news. 

Neetu, on Instagram, said that Ranbir has self-quarantined himself at home and is recovering well. "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions ," Neetu wrote.

In December 2020, Neetu had tested positive for COVID-19 while she was shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh. Her co-star Varun Dhawan had also contracted the virus. 

Ranbir was recently shooting for Luv Ranjan's next with Shraddha Kapoor in Delhi. He also resumed work on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt.
