Akshay Kumar meets CM Yogi Adityanath to discuss Noida Film City plans

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Akshay Kumar today on the first day of his Mumbai visit. He is expected to meet many other film celebs and industrialists with regards to the hi-tech film city being developed in UP’s Noida. He is supposed to meet 41 celebrities from the film fraternity.

The Chief Minister has already held several meetings regarding the infotainment city that is to be built on 1000 acres in Sector 21 of Yamuna Authority of Noida. He had sought suggestions from representatives of the film industry for Film City on September 22, 2020. Akshay and Yogi Adityanath spoke about the upcoming Film City as well as the actor’s films that are in the pipeline. Pictures from the meeting were shared on social media by the official handles of the CM and his office.

Sharing a picture with Akshay, the CM lavished praise on his astute business sense, his dedication and devotion towards his craft and making films that inspire and motivate teh youth of the country. 

The bigwigs of the film fraternity had urged the CM to provide facilities for pre-production, production and post-production of film making under one roof as well as facilities for internal and external location in the state. In the subsequent meetings, many investment proposals are expected to come to Film City and the CM will be discussing these with the industry veterans.

Yogi Adityanath will also be meeting Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council Chairman Raju Srivastava, Gorakhpur MP and actor Ravi Kishan along with Dinesh Yadav ‘Nirhua’, Randeep Hooda, Arjun Rampal and Satish Kaushik.
