Salman Khan comes out in support of ailing actor Faraaz Khan, helps pay medical bills; Kashmera Shah thanks him

Actor Faraaz Khan, who was seen in films like Mehndi and Fareb, is admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru for a brain infection. The actor suffered three consecutive seizures owing to a herpes infection in his brain that had spread from his chest. He developed pneumonia as a consequence of seizures. While his friends and family members were relentlessly working towards raising funds for his treatment, Salman Khan jumped to their side for help. Kashmera Shah, on her Instagram, penned a note thanking the superstar for being with Faraaz's family and looking after his medical treatment and bills. 

Sharing a picture of Salman, Kashmera called him the most genuine person she has ever met in the film industry. "You are truly a great Human Being. Thank you for taking care of Faraaz Khan and his medical bills. Actor Faraaz Khan of Fareb game is in critical condition and Salman has stood by his side and helped him like he helps so many others. I am and will always remain a true admirer. If people don’t like this post I don’t care. You have a choice to unfollow me. This is what I think and feel. I think he is the most genuine person I have ever met in this film industry," Kashmera wrote.

For the unversed, Faraaz is the brother of television actor Fahmaan Khan who is in the show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. Fahmaan, in his statement to a leading daily, told, "Bhai has been on ventilator for the past five days and as per doctors, there are 50 % chances of his survival." On Wednesday, the Khan family and Faraaz's friends managed to raise over  2.2 lacs on a fundraising platform.
