Today is Rishi Kapoor's 68th birth anniversary. The veteran Bollywood actor passed away at a Mumbai hospital on April 30 this year after battling cancer for almost two years. Leaving behind an unmatched legacy, the Chandni actor's demise came across as a major shock. Paying a heartfelt ode to him and keeping him alive in memories as well as streets of Mumbai, the city where he spent his whole life, an urban art group named Bollywood Art Project dedicated a wall painting to Rishi on his birth anniversary.
Bollywood Art Project, on their Instagram page, shared videos and pictures of the wall painting. "Painting Bollywood's original chocolate boy! Born in the first family of Hindi cinema, he showed justice to his craft from the beginning. BAP is delighted to paint him on the walls of Mumbai to cherish his lifetime commitment as an actor and as a human being. Thank you #rishikapoor," the caption of one of the videos read.
The late actor's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni penned a heartfelt note on Instagram. "Papa, They say when you lose someone, you can’t live without -your heart will badly break! But I know you are living in this broken heart & will be there forever! I know you are watching over all of us & ensuring that we live by the value system you instilled in us! You gave me the gift of compassion -taught me the value of relationships & made me the person I am today! I miss you each day & will always love you! Celebrating you today & always - Happy Birthday," she wrote while sharing pictures.
