Watch: Sonu Sood arranges buses for 200 idli vendors to their hometown in Tamil Nadu, gets honoured with aarti

In the wake of the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown, Sonu Sood has been winning the hearts of millions by extending his helping hand to those in need. From providing food to sending hundreds of migrants to their hometown from Mumbai safely and also airlifting people stuck in different corners of the country, the actor has proven to be a real-life hero. Taking his Ghar Bhejo initiative forward, Sonu arranged buses for nearly 200 idli vendors hailing from Tamil Nadu to their hometown safely.

In a video shared by the renowned photographer Viral Bhayani on his Instagram account, Sonu is seen sending them off. The actor instructed them to use santisers provided by him at frequent intervals and told them to maintain social distancing throughout their journey. As a mark of respect, women greeted him by performing aarti. The video also features a person who informed that due to the unavailability of flight tickets, Sonu Sonu arranged buses to send them home.

Sonu, in the recent past, sent migrants from Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkand and Uttarakhand via buses. He even arranged trains to send a few of them back to their families in their villages. Recently, he booked flight tickets for those stuck in Mumbai. Sonu has taken the initiative along with his friend Neeti Goel.
