Did not want to leave Mumbai, we want to be on the next flight to India: Sunny Leone on moving to the US with her family amid COVID-19 crisis

On May 11, amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Sunny Leone with her husband Daniel Weber and children Nisha, Asher and Noah travelled to the US on getting an opportunity to do so from the concerned authorities. The actress had shared the update on Instagram and said her kids are now 'safer against the invisible killer'- Coronavirus.

Now, talking about the same Sunny said that she is looking forward to returning to Mumbai and that she did not want to leave it in the first place. On her children's reaction of returning to the US, Sunny told a leading daily, "Surprisingly, the children reacted very well to flying out. It was a very long journey, but the first day that they were home, they played outside all day. They didn’t want to come inside at all, and it was amazing for them to be able to do that. As far as the body clocks go, it’s just a process and took a few days to adjust. Nisha’s virtual classes have ended. They will start when the new academic year commences."

About her flight back to the US, Sunny said, "It was a 39-hour-long journey. It was tiring, but somehow, the flight timings worked out well for the kids’ sleeping schedules. Personally, I was sad to leave Mumbai, and trust me, I didn’t want to leave, which is why it took us so long to decide to come here. However, it was important for us to be around Daniel’s mother and his family. Like everyone else, they wanted to be with their loved ones."

About her work life, she said, "I don’t have anything to do with the local service industry here, so I don’t know much about it. Luckily, we have saved some money and can lead a comfortable life."

On her plans of returning to India she said, "Like I said, I did not want to leave my Mumbai home at all. The plan to return to India is based on when international flights resume, normally. As soon we can fly back, we will. We want to be on the next flight to India."
